What is the most common method Montero Sport owners are using to get more horsepower from their 3.0 V6 engines?

trading it in?
Seriously, ever hear of polishing a turd?
The motor is STRONG and will last forever, but there is zero aftermarket support for it. YOu are looking at BIG $$.
A 3L engine in a vehicle that tips that scales at 4500+ pounds is weak.
I hate the powerof our sport, but it ALWAYS starts and will ALWAYS start.

I hate the powerof our sport, but it ALWAYS starts and will ALWAYS start. Agreed! It's 21 degrees outside and snowing like a mother and it starts right up and goes anywhere I point it. The engine could use another 100HP at least though.

Could any of the superchargers available for the Galant or Eclipse V6's be used on the MS 3.0?

you could adapt them, yes.
They have kits over in Africa and a few other places I've seen, but they start at 4,500 US dollars, and that doesn't include shipping or any type of support.
