what is the most HP on a MS on this board? four our six cyl. I still haven't found one yet but i'm looking at a 2.4 MS to build. I have years of experince of toying with dsm's so everything *SHOULD* cross over. My plan is turboing the 2.4 till it breaks then build a DOHC 2.4 motor. and put it in the MS. 300-350 shouldn't be a problem.

right now I think it is mine (at least on this board)with 170hp and 205ft torque at the wheels. Check out the dyno results in this thread. I will be updating it shortly when my cams get here from ausy land (rpw). Clay

Wow... Cwic have a 3.5 and he says he have the record with 170hp after mods!!!! so the specs say 197hp and its actually what? like 140?? ?? Cwic, how did you measured your hp? do you know wich is the actual measure without mods? The image its from a computer game called "Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within", pretty cool right? I have it as my wallpaper also...

it was measured with dynojet model 248c dynameter. the only real mod I have done so far is the throttle bodie which gave me 7hp and tourque at the wheels. I dont think the intake and exhaust had much effect, but put together with everything else I have planned it should give me a substantial boost. I did not get a baseline before I did the exhaust and intake so O dont know what the stock at the wheels is but I am willing to help someone out if they have a 3.5 and want to get their STOCK 3.5 4wd dynoed. keep in mind too that every dyno is going to be a bit different.
Manufactuer HP and Torque #s for the most part are gained under IDEAL circumstances, including proper alignment of the planets.
A few manufacturers under rate their vehicles, like VW.
