Would an overbored throttle body help performance or a bigger throttle body transplanted from a donor car/truck imporove performance? Has it been done before?

Yeah, it should. I know a guy that had a throttle body from a big v8 on his little 4-banger. He said it made a difference.

Will the 3.5 litre throttle body fit the 3 litre motor? I would imagine that the 3.5 throttle body would have a larger diameter. Yes / No ? Dve

I had mine bored out 5mm and got 7hp and 7 fpt at the wheels. See dyno results. Clay

I had rpw do it in australia but i would think that any place that did engine work or a machine shop could do it. Clay

cool. I might have to modify the intake like some of you guys did to draw in more cool air. It feels like it has better throttle response and the downshifts seem more frequent now. Seat of the pants it feels quicker.
