According to my UPS tracking number, I should be receiving my Weapon R intake tomorrow 08/19/05. I think it would be a good idea to clean the throttle body while I'm taking out the airbox. However, should I disconnect the negative terminal of the battery during the install to reset the ECU and MAF sensor? I would hate to throw a "Service Engine Soon" light after I install it. Any advice would greatly be appreciated! If all goes well and with your tips, maybe I can contribute by doing a DIY with pics. Although it is almost self explanatory.

no need to take the battery cable off. the computer will learn what is new within a few miles of driving. for some reason, disconnecting the battery on the MS seems to lead to trouble. enjoy your intake!

Just got it today via UPS. Will install tomorrow. The intake tube is shorter than the Injen.... Will post pics when ready. Should I do some stop and go traffic driving and some full throttle freeway driving to for the ECU to relearn?
