well the track was a waist of time. drove 45 min from the campsite to the track, shut it down 4 12 min then ran. heat soak and the fact that starting in D then shifting to 3 after 1st gear got me to .5 sec slower. was going to have some time 4 it to cool down before i could run again but the girfriend called me to tell me that a friend showed up late to camp and did not know how to set up either of their tents, so i had to leave. now i will say, start ur dragging in 3 and leave it there. i knew it was slower at the end cause i wasnt over 80mph. and u loose so much power along with the possible error when u start in 1 or 2 and switch gears. last time i tried power breaking i did not do any better either. i need more practice but my best results have come from multiple runs within 5 min of each other and putting it into 3 and running. shifts have calmed down a bit now and contrary to my one 1/4 mile run, the truck feels stronger. clay

LOL, you're drag racing it? That's hysterical... so you like the improved feel but think it may actually be a little slower? I guess continue to mention your impressions over time, let us know

yeah i think it was just heat soak. the ecu has now re-learned that i drive very agressive and the vehicle shifts at almost 6k rpms. that will deff make it faster cause it will stay in the power range after each shift. i dont recomend it but i actually had the engine bouncing off the rev limiter when i first got it back cause it hadent learned the shift points yet. and never shifted to 2nd when i put the selector in 3.... the thing is it kept pulling cause of the cams i have in . i think i could use a few degrees of cam advancement. clay
