Had to meet a guy to sell a b&m mega shifter friday at the local drag 30miles away. Cost 20 to run down the track all night and 10 per spectator but my craz friend jump in the back and laid flat and my windows are very tinted so they did`nt know he was back there lol. Got there late 9:40pm. Had to track down someone with a jack and 4 way since my stuff was stolen. Did a quick back tire rotation since the pass tire was alreadys pretty wore. I did`nt want to wear it worser.
Sold the shifter and ran down track. This time around my fastest was 17.9. I just got oil change 150miles ago also added some water wetter. Suposed to keep engine a tad cooler. the back seats where put back in along with added weight from huge crow bar and 4-way. I let tire pressure out to 26-27lbs on back this time and nothing has been changed. Im at 56+ miles everythang is oem tranny is pretty new and cpu suposeably. No plugs are wire changes or timeing belt has been done since the vehical was new. I guess Im loseing some performance there?
I need to get on the plugs and wires. Also my monty has been burning out like a poss traction rear end the past couple burnouts. I find this unusaely odd cause it`s a limted slip and most of my past burn outs have always been on pass side even last time at drag. I need to check out that and get some input from you guys maybe fluid is low in the rear end or something it needs to be changed? I post i genraail about this also.
Any ways I ran down track 5 times 2times aginst very mod cars that spanked me 1 time alone when I gave the crowd a good long burn out in 2nd the best burn out that night. and 1 race vs a newer 2000+ v6 ranger stick shift I got him my time was 18.073 with 140lb passanger his time was a 18.310.
The monty weigh about 4200 or so on the scale with about 380 in people and about 55lb or so in cargo. Gas light came on dureing the last run so had to make a 16mile drive to nearest open gas pump .
