So .......
I own a 2001 MS Limited, Solano Black, 80k, stock.
My question for you: if I want to make this a better vehicle, what should I do with it? Should I invest in a new intake/exhaust first? Should I start somewhere else?
I've been reading here for awhile, but just now able to devote some time/resources to this truck. Taking a stock 2001 MS Ltd what would you do first? And then what next?

coming from a guy that would never take a 35,000 dollar vehicle off road, I would say go the street rought. Put a nice set of chrome rims on there and if you like your music sounding at it's best, upgrade your sound system. Anything after that is up to you.

depends of what you want from it. streeting it for better on-road performace gives you a lot of pleasure for a daily driver. lower profile tires, a body drop, upgrade the rubber bushings to polyurethane bushings, new slotted rotors, will give the truck a brand new feel on the road. even new shocks can improve the ride, especially if they are still the orginal. i would def do the exhaust/intake route. a few more ponies and a new note out the back never hurts. then like DJ says, if you like your tunes, bump that up.

Thanks for the replies DJ and LOT. I don't do any serious offroading, but I do take the vehicle on some rough roads to get to good fishing five or six times a year, and I do take it to the mountains in the winter -- love how it handles in snow! And I'm almost always rocking out with the stock Infiniti soundsystem, which could use an upgrade. I think I'll start with intake/exhaust and go from there. Appreciate your thoughts.
