Does anybody besides me notice how many people sign up and never post...ever? I mean seriously, about half of the 4,000 or so members probably post 2-3 times...if ever. An eigth of that half is about what we have who are full-time forum users....US! edit: I stand corrected, an eigth of 2000 is 250...its more close to .7%-1.4% of all users (4,456) that actually post...Just a little math to think about...

A lot of people find this forum when they have a problem with their car. They post 1 question, get the answer they need (or not), and you never see them again. Only a small amount of people is dedicated enough to stick around. Those are the ones to whom the Montero Sport is not "just a car". We love our trucks and we are here to help others, and learn from others What I find somewhat disappointing though is the maintenance on this website/forum. The last news is from 2007. Some links in the DIY section don't work anymore. What happened to "truck of the month"? The search engine is total cr*p. Etc.

yea, we all hear you. The last time jay was on here was back september. I gave him a DIY for balljoints about a month ago now. If he is going to be gone for so long, he should assign another moderator then, maybe cwic, or bdmontero?

Indeed, but we get quite a bit done, its been pretty much all of us running the website for the past few months here, no moderators, no admins, I wonder if Jay is in a bit of a rut?

If he is going to be gone for so long, he should assign another moderator then, maybe cwic, or bdmontero? Still here. I don't think I got that DIY. Can you re-send again? Or better yet, just create it on the forum and I'll sticky. I haven't been on a lot since it's been real busy. I still check the boards a lot though, just not posting. I'll start thinking about assigning another moderator. Thanks. Jay

This happens on just about every Forum out there for any vehicles. A lot of people just want to Leech the fixes from a site, then never help someone else or even post that the leeched fix solved their problem or their inquiry... It sucks, but If you figure there are more than 100 active members, then this site is doing better than average, and that's about all you can really expect, for free.

Its easy to post pics, get a imgur.com account (a lot easier to manage than image shack) the bottom circled box that says "original image" click that and select the "large thumb nail" option, then copy the link in the top circled box in the "message boards" box, then paste it into your messages, and the image shows up. easy as pie
