Hello guys ,,
I have good news,, Today we managed to re-program the ECU of my Pajero Sport. I was told that this type of ECU could only be -re-chiped but we were able to download new corrected charts to the unit .
The car is working fine ,, the power gained is about 10% of the original output (around 17-20HP) as the man told me . The car will have a better fuel economy now (of course not big changes) as the changes were towards more lean mixture as i know.
In the road now , the car sounds better , a more rich and full sound , runs faster , specially to the mid to high rpm band . Also , the rpm cutter were moved about 300 rpm higher now. I must say that specially in high rpms the difference is obvious and in the low rpms (unfortunately) not noticeable. I was told that this would be the way the new software will perform though. I could have more torque in low rpms but i would need a better )higher octane) fuel , whiich here is very expensive.
I ll post new results in a few days , when the ECU will settle down .

Good to hear it is working out. Sorry I got to your PM late. What year vehicle do you have? The other info I gave will still apply and give you a little insight as to what the re-program is actually doing for you. If it is working as you say, you can just add some higher octane fuel when you go wheeling! I may be selling my Car Chip and Apexi fuel tuner soon. Clay
