Hey everyone! I am new to this forum and i have been reading about a lot of stuff here thats helped me with my car.
I have a 2002 Montero Sport, and I am trying to find a negative source that my amp wire can go in.
Im also having trouble finding a good spot to run a positive cable from the battery to the amp.
anyone know of a good spot to run the positive wire from the battery into the car? and can anyone tell me where i can find a negative source?

Here is what I did with mine. for the Ground wire I grounded it to the seat bolt lift the rear seal cushion up and look for a bolt that anchors the rear seat back.. For the Positive cable I ran it along the drivers side under the sill and carpet. make sure you run the Pre Amp cables on the opposite side of the vehicle so you don't pick up unwanted interference.

I did something like that, in my 98 MS I have the in floor storage in the rear cargo bay, in the drivers side smaller storage there is a strap tie down. That bolts directly to the metal frame underneath, it is a really good point for a ground if your wire is shorter

I hope you have figured it out by now. if you haven't though. I placed the amp under the drivers seat. i bolted the ground to the bolt for the seat beat. i ran my power under the carpet and through the firewall. if you look you'll see where they have put a blank plate over the hole for where a clutch would go. drill a hole and run the cable.

Yeah I did the same thing and put my amp under my driver seat. RCA's and remote ran down the center console and I grounded it under the center console as well. Very clean install
