I have 2 12" kenwood subs and a 750 watt kenwood amp. For the first two years that I've had this setup, these subs have been awesome and bump nicely. Lately, whenever I'm driving with the music off, but the subs are still on, I get a lot of 'feedback' i guess you could say, coming from the subs. While driving, it just sounds like a little thunderstorm in the back of my car. I just heard constant small thumps of bass sound, and it gets really annoying. The subs also no longer bump as hard as they used too and don't sound as smooth/clear. I used to keep the subs on setting 0 out of 6, and they would still be bumping nice and loud, and now I have to put them at 6 to get the same sound, and it's also less appealing/defined..it just sounds muffled and nasty.
Any ideas as to what has caused this?
thanks!

This type of feed back is common. I believe it happens when the amp is on and radio is off. see if that is the case if so. Your AMP turn on wire is powered up with the radio off check to see why. if you have the stock radio then its probably wired into the power antenna lead. As for the poor sound quality you may have a faulty RCA cable.

im thinking bad remote wire, the amp is getting weak power signal, check your pos/neg terminals as well
