I was wanting some smoked out headlights but didnt want to spray paint my headlights and possibly ruin them. So I saw online a vinyl film that works the same as the paint, so I bought a roll and this is how it turned out. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usI also did the rear lights Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usI ultimately like the look of it, the headlights are a little too dark so I might buy the light smoke film, all and all I would rate it a 9/10. I would give it 10/10 but it was time consuming to put on and you run the risk of getting creases and air bubbles.

I like it. I was looking at some smoke colored lens for some fog lights. Now I have an idea of how it might look.

heck yeah, I am going to find some round fog lights and install them into my bumper and then smoke them out. Also the vinyl holds up great to the heat, The sun plus engine heat doesnt affect it at all other than it squeezed out any remaining air bubbles

Looks good. Also a good idea since you can remove it.

Yeah I actually removed it from the headlights because it was a little too dark, and I just spent 50 bucks on brand new lamps and didn't want to waste that money haha

Yeah I don't like to use spray anything on my lights. I had a friend with a newer car and painted the lights, the cops ticketed him on it and he couldn't get the paint off. I used the vinyl film, it was pretty good, had to take it off cause some douche spray painted my car and a bunch of others in my apartment complex

I used googone and a rough sponge, it took it off but the clear coat came off too, I ended up shooting a gloss black paint on it with some gloss clear coat, I am planning on repainting my whole mits soon so it wasn't a huge deal. Never caught anyone
