I recently bought a 2.2 Farad Cap. for my dual 12" Rockford Fosgate's and 760 watt amp. I didnt realize that I hadnt bought a wiring kit for the cap. I am curious if a amp wiring kit will work for it?
does anyone know?

There is no capacitor wiring kit.
Disconnect the pwr wire from the batt. Choose a convenient spot, preferably close to the amp, where you want to install the cap. Cut the power wire. Install the appropriate size ring terminal on both cut ends. Connect them both to the (+) term of the cap (if it's polarized). Then run a ground wire from the other terminal.
FWIW - the only place I'd install a cap is on ebay to try to get some money out of it. They do almost nothing in a car audio power system. A 2.2F cap stores about 50J between 14 and 12v. A Joule is a watt-second. So an 800w power surge will draw energy from the cap for about a twentieth of a second before the battery takes over (if the alt hasn't yet responded) and the cap needs recharged, and that's accounting for resistive/inductive losses.

Actually there is a capacitor wiring kit. They have it in 8awg and 4awg. It has 5 feet of power and ground. Try to keep the ground short and get a good ground (scratch the paint off)
