So after I put on my new wheels and tires, I decided to upgrade my stereo system because I wanted blue-tooth in my MS. So I installed this Boyo AVN701d. So far so good, I love this thing. It has the Blue-tooth, NAV, DVD, touchscreen, and iPod either direct connect or I can stream my music straight from my iPhone...best of all I paid $400 on eBay. Fits perfectly and so far, I am very happy for the product. It looks funny int the pictures cause i have it set on a 10 degree tilt, but its fits great. Thought I would share a few pics!!! By iceytys at 2011-03-05 By iceytys at 2011-03-05 By iceytys at 2011-03-05 Now the only problem is my power antenna has been broken off since I bought this thing and reception is a little weaker, so gonna have to find a replacement antenna. Anyone have any luck with those universal power antenna's?? The power antenna function itself works as I hear the motor when i turn on and off the vehicle, but the antenna itself is broken off. Thoughts on replacement? Thanks

I bought it on eBay, seller Lessco electronics....$399. As for install, it wasnt hard at all, especially if you buy an adapter harness for like $5. The plastic around the radio just pops right off, then 4 screws and the radio is out!

@ limited...yep you are correct about the CD eject, I am not too upset about it, the radio has a SD slot and AD2P blue-tooth, so I would image I wont be putting too many CDs in there, but definitely got watch out for it.
@ BD...thanks Ill try doing a search

Does the screen retract into the dash? Or is it always out?

I read a review for this unit that you can not use the nav and listen to the radio at the same time. Can you confirm?

you can on my jensen VM9223. looks very much the same. there are other jensens that would let you play a DVD and send that output to say a rear screen AND you can have the navi working. that is what i wish i had. look for mutli-zone video out on a head unit. otherwise, the double DIN players work great!

How does the heat from the car and the outside affect your screen? I want to get one but in SoCal the sun is intense and I dont want the screen to go out

I also have a double din unit but made from Pioneer, but I can still put in and eject cd's no matter if im in park or drive. It does not retract at all but I still love it. Much better than the stock one. Also the heat from the car hasn't effected mine for over 2 years. I do have VERY dark tint so that may help.
