It may be just me, but I would only get a performance chip that is adjustable, and the more adjustable the better. I recommend AEM's FIC-8, it's extremely adjustable, can and will make a difference (to fuel mileage also) once you learn to set it properly and you will be able to pass emissions, again after you learn to set it up.
Caution: If your not able to use a soldering iron and read electrical pinouts for your ecu plan on hiring a professional to do so.

i read the installation and it says the chip module will be installed at the engine bay and is connected via 2 wires that plug into the IAT sensor......and everything needed for installation is in this kit and it only takes 15 mins to do it,...no need for professionals, so im a bit curious about this one..

These "chips" your seeing on eBay that install through the Intake Air Temperature sensor is pretty much garbage. Basically the chip is supposed to trick the ECU into thinking that cold air is being drawn in- which in turn, the ECU responds by injecting more fuel. The general consensus is that they don't work.

I noticed you mentioned in your post below: "I recommend AEM's FIC-8, it's extremely adjustable, can and will make a difference (to fuel mileage also)" Assuming you meant an improvement in mileage ,so.. Have you or anyone improved over 20 and 21 mpg as a result of the installation? =================================================== It may be just me, but I would only get a performance chip that is adjustable, and the more adjustable the better. I recommend AEM's FIC-8, it's extremely adjustable, can and will make a difference (to fuel mileage also) once you learn to set it properly and you will be able to pass emissions, again after you learn to set it up. Do not mess with jet, if anything get an SAFC II or Neo. I also have a AEM and it is not a do it youself type of tuner for the every day car guy. The AEN has the possibility of helping with MPG but it takes a lot of tuning and if you cannot do it yourself, a lot of money. Clay
