dashboard lights won't turn on with new head unit

I recently installed a new Sony stereo to replace my other aftermarket stereo and just used the wiring harness the previous owner already had installed. Everything linked up fine and it works great. However, later that night when I turned my headlights on I realized I couldn't read any of my dashboard lights or a/c lights. I'm stumped on what it could be. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Also, I checked the fuse box but I can't determine which fuse is the dashboard fuse, I even checked the manual. If you know where that is also that would be greatly appreciated!

it's not wired up correctly.. check your illuminate wire on your stereo and disconnected. Or even check your dash dimmer on the left side of the dash near steering wheel it might be turned off
