Alright i have frame rot pretty bad so a frame is definitely on the to do list but im just goin to patch it for now. aside from the to do list(which will have to wait cuz im in between jobs right now and my savings is getting devoured by bills). i cranked the t-bars all the way, thru a universal shackle lift on the rear, grabbed 8 chevy wagon wheels(6=15x10/2=15x8), 6 used 33x12.5x15 m/t with good tread but a little dry rot( mounted on 15x8 front and 15x10 rear) a set of 33x12.5x15 bfg a/t ko for the set of 15x10, replaced all the speakers and head unit, wipers, fixed the exhaust, painted the grill( satin black center including mitsu and v6 emblems/ chrome edge is white to match the ms), and repainted the roof rack. all i spent was 23 on shackles and bolts and 180 on wheels and tires. i love having a buddy in a junkyard. lol. like i said moneys tight being unemployed and starting school for autobody/collision repair so things arent exactly how i want them to stay. the dd wheels will be sandblasted and powder coated, a 1-2" body lift, ome leafs/torsion bars, tokico trek masters(for a dakota), all gaskets/belts/bushings/filters/fluids will be replaced, the body will be cleaned up(antenna and keyholes shaved/gloss black paint where the white is/rhino liner where the gold is, and finally (most important) a new frame will be sourced and completely coated with chassis saver prior to installation. figured this bored could use a new thread(not exactly flooding with new material). any tips or suggestions are welcome. thanks for reading.
