Hello
I love my Montero Sport, but the back suspension bottoms up on speed bumps most times.
The shocks are new, less than a year old. This is a common problem with this truck.
I dont want to raise it one bit.
I was reading a thread and the Airlift came to my attention.
Can I use this only to avoid bottoming up? I mean, fit them inside the springs and inflate just enough to make it harder and not higher?
Tnx!

Old man emu kit. I cut two coils before I installed it looks stock and rides like a new truck never bottoms out u can read my post. I think I paid like $160 for the springs

That's the real problem. Shocks will not help. Shocks are NOT springs. Edward www.4x4extremesports.com

I would be very interested in a tutorial to install the old man emu springs. Specifically, how and where to make the cuts on the springs. Would you be able to confirm the part # you purchased just for reference? Thanks! $160 seems like a drop in the buck for the benefits you get from the rear suspension.
Also, just to note, I have the Air Lift kit and am overall happy with it for towing, but one down side is that the bags make the rear a little bouncy around turns. I only keep about 5-7 psi at all times.
