I saw this thread after I bought or I might have gone with the warranty. Hopefully it lasts but 20 bucks is super cheap. Ummm, like I mentioned before... Thanks dude

Ya Emerson it's pretty hard to cough up $367.00 to a dealership for an OEM valve that you can get so much cheaper through other sources. I just couldn't do it, and after much soul searching and research I finally took the plunge and bought one that looked to be the identical photo of ones selling for six-seven times as much for about $50. Advertised with a life-time warranty and shipped from the USA, fully aware that these were selling points, but noticeably more than the other valves were offering. I felt it was worth a try.
At any rate the valve is still working perfectly after a year of operation, but I'm carrying the original valve with me just in case. My $.02

I regret to inform you that my ebay iac caused a no idle this morning. Put the stocker back in and she runs fine.... The $20 IAC's been holding good so far....I'm also keeping the old OEM IAC & EGR solenoid just in case.

I emailed the ebay guy about the one that failed and he said warranty is 30 days. I agree that I cannot spend that much coin if it isn't necessary.

You know I did find a few upper end but reasonably priced IACs - Intermotor (Standard) and Airtex have valves in the $175-185 range, and appear to be well made with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty on the Intermotor IAC.

That is still a lot, but much more palatable that the dealer part.

Agreed. Amazing how much they charge for that tiny part, but it can sure cripple your ride when it goes south.

Mine is still working fine. Spoke too soon.. it just went out, so replacing with one I bought from ISUMO. We'll see if this one last any longer than the first.

ISUMO brand @ $25 working fine after install.. except I FORGOT to reconnect the MAF lead so I thought it as failing out of the box! I've done that before, so I was able to figure it out.. at 3 AM.
