If it's a Pick-A-Part yard that's the only way you're going to get them unless you find somebody like George pulling for you

If it's a Pick-A-Part yard that's the only way you're going to get them unless you find somebody like George pulling for you Holy crap!!!!! There is a newish LKQ (pick-a-part) 20 minutes from home. Did not even know. They have 4 fullsize (01,99,95,01) and 5 sports (98,02,00,01,01). The fullsize 99 has the winter package (orange sticker on the console)! showed up on 8/2... Figures crossed my theory is right and the big "sport type" torsions and coils is on the winter package versions! Cost a touch more, but not bad... $84.00 instead of $80 @ pull-a-part.... hopefully this beast is intact!!! Pinstryper... any tips on pulling these safely at a junkyard versus at home on jackstands with a jack?

Specifically looking for a pic of the throttle body. Edward

Edward Absolutely Edward... any certain angle you need besides top? Just so I can get a good look at it. I need to replace/rebuild the TB on the big Sport. Throttle shaft is leaking. Mitsu doesn't sell them anymore and it looks like the '97 may be unique. Hoping the '98 is still the same TB. Edward

Hoping the '98 is still the same TB. Edward There is a 97 at pull a part up east... if the 98 appears different to you, I can check that 97 to see if the tb is on it? Is a throttle shaft leak common? There is also a fullsize 97 that just arrived at the pap south... did they use the same?

bring a pair of dykes to cut the break line and hammer to pound the shock off. It will drop down then pull coils out. you will also need the hammer to pound out the tbars. they don't care if you bring a jack, but they frown on torches though...

pull the panhard/crosslink rod while your under there better yet measure yours and compare to the one your pulling the springs from.

Holy mother. That was the biggest freaking nightmare ever. But I have the sport type torsion bars and Springs.. yay. Notice the light blue paint splotch... just as the FSM indicates A tell tale sign of a winter package: orange sticker... then there its the locker headlight squirters Here is the donor Let's just say this yard does not know how to support Vehicles properly. They had the stands supporting the vehicle under the torsion bars and under the very rear portion by the bumper so the whole rear end was sitting on the ground. Overall: Then I asked them for assistance in rearranging the vehicle so I could get to the parts to get them out and they completely argued with me. Finally the facility manager told me what I do with an engine hoist he doesn't have to know about so if I want those parts bad enough go out there and be creative.

assistance in re-arranging a vehicle? that's some funny stuff there... its a junkyard not costco. did you look at the other units to see if they might be positioned better? I used that engine hoist Monday to get the mounts for the brushguard which they conviently set the supports on. But, you got them, think of it as a learning experiance. Now go eat some Ibuprofen and install em tomorrow, cause you will be crippled by Monday... We're proud of you Red, you did it, think 50$ was too much to pay Jorge?
