... The male and female ones? I actually pulled ones from a Ford focus and a Taurus. The ones from the Ford focus are the exact same as I could take a female plug from the Taurus and a male plug from the focus and they'd click right together. I'll try to dog them up I got them somewhere. ☺ The ones the flat ones that plug into the motors. I thought you'd said that you replaced them with OEM Ford plugs. Edward

On a side note how long did your original fan motors last?

On a side note how long did your original fan motors last? The original motors were Chinese. I'd have to look up the receipt. They never died. They're now spares. One in the garage and one in the emergency box in the truck. I found a set of brand new OEM Motorcraft fan motors, so I replaced them. I was pretty sure the OEM motors moved more air than the Chinese ones and I was correct. They also pull more amperage. Edward

Okay just spoke with a buddy. He said try this number Thanks you!!! I tried to ask the Ford dealership here but they're a PITA. GM, Toy, Jeep, Chrysler, even Hyundai - all those guys are tons of help. Ford guys? Don't know what their issue is. Sigh. Edward

He's the master tech at stillwater so I got the inside scoop!! ☺ Sweet!! I'm going to check here in a bit and see if I can get them to admit they sell 'em and then grab a couple for the shelf. I think I'm going to do the body lift on my little black '97 and slap a fan conversion on it. It already has all-pro skids and an ARB and winch. Make a nice day-trip light wheeling vehicle for around town. Edward

God d@#$!& Ed we were just talking about fan motors. Lol. Well my bouncing gauge started to resurface so I went on a rampage and tore the system apart and put in a new thermostat. Bled the system, boom. Fixed it. Bad sticking thermostat. Not as soon as I pull in the driveway the D.S motor starts rattling. Lol so guess what I just replaced. ☺

No I was in a pinch and the OEM was too far off so I used dorman motors. They are WAY better than the ones I had. Man it literally took me 30 minutes with the setup. ☺

Man it literally took me 30 minutes with the setup. ☺ Probably a good idea not to replace one with OEM and the other with something else. AFAIKT, there's a several amp difference between my Chinese ones and the OEM motors. I'm not sure exactly what that might do on the controllers we're using. Maybe nothing but .... I know on the Spal different amperage draw could trigger errors. I don't think mine is that intelligent but yours is a LOT more complex than the Derale. Yea, they're cake to replace. I think it took all of about 30 minutes to replace both of mine, too. That's nice. If I have to replace one on vacation, it won't be a major PITA. Edward
