yeah u can see that on the new dyno sheet. it changed the air to fuel ratio by about .5 percent. still waiting on the cam gears to get in but the truck now seems to be running stronger with the shift kit and tranny cooler but i wont be going back to the dyno till the gears r in. i may go back to the track though now that the ecu and tranny controll have had time to relearn my driving habits. i thought i would make an update.. as they were installing my nx system they noticed a huge hole in my intake from where it had been rubbing on the heat sheild i made. may have had something to do with my hp # not changing and the bad 1/4 time after the fan and synthetics. will know more when we dyno for the nos clay

i just used a sheet of sheetmetal/duct work from lowes and cut little tabs out of it to make it and fastened the tabs with self tapping screws.i also used a sheet to make a air scoop that i mounted to the wiring bar behind the bumper and piped it through the core support. Clay

Fianally after 13 months of waiting i have the cam gears i my hand. will prob have to wait till spring to get them installed so i dont get jaded dyno results but i will be at 300WHP in a couple months. for anyone interested in the cams(from RPW) and the gears are fidanza part #961639. that is for the silver,961634 is blue and 961636 is red. the gears are for the v6 eclipseGT. still waiting on the plugs. well the time has come... truck will be going to the shop next week cause all parts are in. I do have an exhaust leak now that will be fixed by replacing a section of pipe and my electric fans motor quit so i will have to put the stock back on for good. I cant afford for the engine to overheat now. will have updates soon. clay

truck is back. everything is in. will get it dynoed again on the 21st and send graphs to gallery. they ended up setting the cams at -1 degrees which was 2 advanced from where they were in stock timing so we will see if it put the power where i wanted when we dyno. Clay

well i went to the dyno today and didnt get much done. they had the wrong size pipe for the exhaust and spent most of the time on the dyno getting the air/fuel down. truck seems to run fine. the only diff we could see was that the crossover between hp and torque is about 700 rpms eariler and the diff between hp and torque is about 25 vs 30 before. we tried a 35 shot and the vehicle jumped and the graph showed a 50 torque spike but did not carry it out so i will have to go back this week to get it all worked out. this dyno is also reading lower than the one used before so i cant compare apples to apples till i go back to that shop. well it is tuned!! we did not try the 75 hp jets cause the torque # was growing so big we worried about EGT, which we have no way to monitor. so at the 50 hp jets we went from 165 hp to 228. and on the same 50 shot we went from 185 ftlbs to 281. i will say that their dyno seems to be reading lower that the one i used for the graphs in this gallery so i will go back there to compare on their dyno. i hope i have not lost 15 hp and 20 touque by advancing the cams. these figs are to the wheels so i could easily see 300ftlbs if i went to the 75 shot, hopefilly the other dyno will show that i did not actually loose power and if that is the case than i could be at 300ftlbs right now on that dyno. i will prob not try the 75 till someone tops me. also, the deal with the crossover of hp and torque has to do with the program not the truck. I'll know more after i go to the other shop. Monturbo, it is time for u to put some numbers up!!! P.S.... i will wait till i got o the other dyno to post the graphs but i can e-mail them to anyone who wants to see them. Clay

well new update, after going to the first dyno i had the vehicle tuned at today i learned something. first i learned that the other dyno (the perormance shop) shows about 10 hp and torque less than this one. along with that i also learned that their o2 sensor is reading a little richer. the bad things i learned are that my safcII is not working and the power curve is exactly the same as before i had the cam gears put in and supposedly advanced 2 degrees..finally i learned that the 203 peak torque was a spike when the torque converter grabbed so my actual max torque will be on the new dyno sheet i send to the gallery I will have to go back to the shop to figure out what they r willing to do . u could take from this that according to this dyno i am at 238 hp and 291 ftlbs on a 50 shot but i did not try a sprayed pull with everything else going on. no time. will keep posted and will post my sprayed dyno manyana.
