I purchased the 4" last night at Pep boys made by Spectre, part number is 81403 (spectre number), $15.99 and a Spectre cone filter(part number is 8136 (blue) $27.99.
I looked up the part numbers and was going to order by mail and saw that Pep boys was a dealer. I called the local store and they had it in stock and held them till I got off of work.
IT is amazing that I had to have the part number to locate these, when I called and asked if they had the parts in stock and Pep boys was not able to find them. I went back on the Spectre web site and found the part number, they had them in stock.
The 3" adapter part number is 81413 if you go that route.

Well O-reilly auto had the 4 inch adapter in stock no waiting and both the adapter, filter and bolts were a total of 40.00 So I got the 4 inch and it works with all the way up from 97-2004. I used an "L" bracket from the local hardware store for 1.00 and it bolted right on to the lower left hand corner of the adapter plate!! Be careful though as it may suck squirrels off the road!!LOL

Well biggie if you have a square type adpater plate and it looks like my MAFF sensor then yes. I just took off all the air duct plus I unbolted the MAFF sensor off the top air filter lid. I used the original intake hose because it works just as good as anything else. the 4 inch filter is a good choice especially for the 3.5's!. I am currently working on a polished aluminum housing for the filter as so it will not get wet.
