Nice vids. Your evo is wicked as well. Anyone word from the trans shop? Thanks man!! I'll post a few pics of the Evo for you. I talked to them on Friday and they had the valve body out but weren't done with it. I'm not in a huge hurry at the moment. Attachments:

Nice. Snow = tons of fun. The 8 and 9 are beasts, and from what I've heard the 8 being the best out of all of them.

Thanks!! Mine is an '05 which is the best year for the VIII's, it's sometimes considered and 8.5 because of the upgrades over the '03 and '04 models. It has the active center differential and larger turbine housing so it runs more boost and has more power. The IX is probably the best year for American Evo's as it had a larger compressor cover, MIVEC, more power, redesigned front bumper, and black interior features as opposed to the blue in the VIII's. the IX's were only made in 2006 and are still pretty expensive.

Well I got it back from the transmission shop today. Unfortunately though the issue is more involved then the originally suspected. He cleaned the valve body up and said that there was all kinds of junk in there. Because of that he thinks its an internal transmission issue and would be a lot more expensive to fix. Because of that I'm just going to drive it as is and keep an eye on the You-Pull-It for a 4x4 transmission. Luckily my buddy only charged me for the fluid.
Mudrunner, today I plugged the lighted sun visors into my non-lighted Sport. It only took about 30 minutes to do both sides. I removed the visors, a-pillar trim, and o-crap bar and that gave me just enough room to pull down the headliner enough to reach the plugs for it. I plugged them in and they worked right away!

pardon the ignorance since mine don't have that, what is that part? It is just an engine cover that is all. it doesn't do anything special other than be there to make it look all buttoned up.

I sold mine to 91eclipse cause they are a PITA to me. But they do protect coils and other electrical parts from moisture and debris.
