Wow this thread still exists? I thought it would be buried way deep in the archieves by now. So it's been over 2 1/2 years since it started. Without reading through all of the pages- did anyone get to 300rwHP point?

well , the headers are in! i havent dynoed it yet so i posted here instead of dyno results. it deff sounds deeper now. i havent had it on the freeway yet so i dont know how it pulls. i can say that they were a PITA to get in. had to take out the front diff and it is tight in there with them in but they fit. one thing i noticed on the stockers that is pretty sad is where the 2 pipes merge behind the cats (one above the other) u would think it would merge but instead it is a tight 90 degree vertical bend up from the lower cat to the upper one, not too good for flow.I will update in a week or so in the dyno sec and have a dyno chart up in the showroom and hopefully a vid of the pull. ok, I had her dynoed on monday. the peak # without spray did not change. up till 5k rpms i did get a increase of 4hp and torque on average, still not close to what i was hoping 4. On the spray however i broke 300....torque. i will put the graph up in the showroom but it has only the new pulls and the old spray pull. i didnt have them include the previous N/A pull. Judging bu the results i got , it would take well over 400 ftlbs to get close to 300hp due to the way this engine was designed, to produce torque. i am only at 259hp now. Clay

Good luck to everybody!!! Has anyone thought of an engine swap from like a 6 cylinder new charger?? I know Dodge owns mitsubishi but do they actually build Mitsubishi or just own them? I am not sure so I want to get my facts straight.

Dodge and mitsubishi were working together for a long time because dodge's designs were selling like crap and mitsubishi was trying to get into the US market (in the 80'). they stopped working together in '99 but dodge had a bunch of designs with mitsubishi engines that they continued using for a while after that.
